About HAF

The Healing Arts Foundation (HAF) - based out of Amsterdam, the Netherlands - promotes dance, theater, and arts culture, with a broad audience, in active and passive cultural participation, in the Netherlands and abroad. Through dance, theater and other art forms, HAF creates awareness around social issues, such as gender (in)equality, #metoo, femicide, and mental health. HAF also promotes personal development through dance, theater, art and other creative forms. 

 

The foundation attempts to achieve their goals through:

• developing and executing (inter)national dance, theater, and arts (education) projects with a socially engaged goal - for girls and women

• developing and executing (inter)national  dance theater, interdisciplinary and interactive performances

• supporting the projects by Project Zahira and Changing Lives Through Dance in particular

• performing all further actions that are related to the foregoing in the broadest sense or that may be conducive to it

 

The assets of the foundation serve to achieve the goals of the foundation.

NEDERLANDS
 

Stichting Healing Arts Foundation - met een thuisbasis in Amsterdam, Nederland - focust op het bevorderen van de dans, theater– en kunstcultuur, bij een zo breed mogelijke doelgroep, zowel op het gebied van actieve als passieve cultuurparticipatie, in binnen– en buitenland. Door middel van dans, theater– en overige kunstvormen bewustzijn creëren rondom sociaal-maatschappelijke kwesties. Het bevorderen van persoonlijke ontwikkeling door middel van dans, theater, kunst, en andere kunst– en creatievormen.

De stichting tracht haar doelen te bereiken door:

• (inter)nationale dans, theater –en kunst(educatie)projecten met een sociaal-maatschappelijk doel -voor o.a. meisjes en vrouwen- te ontwikkelen en uit te voeren

• (inter)nationale danstheater, interdisciplinaire en interactieve voorstellingen te ontwikkelen en uit te voeren 

• in het bijzonder de projecten en initiatieven van Project Zahira en Changing Lives Through Dance (financieel) te ondersteunen

• het verrichten van alle verdere handelingen die met het vorenstaande in de ruimste zin verband houden of daartoe bevorderlijk kunnen zijn.
